A NASA Photographer based in Houston, Texas, captured this marvellous sight as the International Space Station passed across the Moon on January 4, 2012. ISS can be seen from Earth with the naked eye as bright 'star' racing across the sky - typically from West to East. For passes over your location, check Heavens-Above.com.
Equipment used to acquire the Images (according to NASA): Nikon D3S, 600mm lens and 2x converter, Heavy Duty Bogen Tripod with sandbag and a trigger cable to minimize camera shake. The camera settings were as follows: 1/1600 @ f/8, ISO 2500 on High Continuous Burst
