_ This image taken by the International Space Station Expedition 30 crew shows a panoramic view of Europe at night while external components of the Station appear in the foreground. At the bottom center, the city lights of Belgium and the Netherlands are clearly visible. The British Isles can be seen on the left side – partially obstructed by the Solar Arrays of the Station. Scandinavia can be seen beneath the end effector of the Space Station Robotic Arm (Canadarm2) which is in the middle of the frame. The image was taken on January 22, 2012.
